June 6, 2013 Tryouts for Lexington FC teams U-12 through U-14 have been completed. Thanks to all the great soccer players who came out! To all of our new families....WELCOME!

June 3, 2013 Lexington FC has just completed a very successful Kentucky state tournament run that will send 6 teams to Des Moines, Iowa to represent Kentucky in the Region ll Championships later this month. In addition, 2 Lexington FC teams will head to Overland Park, Kansas to represent our state in the Region ll President's Cup Championships. Winning Kentucky State Open Cup titles were the LFC 13 Girls White (00), the LFC 14 Boys White (99), the LFC 16 Boys White (97), the LFC 17 Girls White (96), and the LFC 18 Boys White (95). The LFC 17 Boys White (96) also qualified for regionals by earning the wild card slot as Kentucky Open Cup finalists. Winning President's Cup titles were the LFC 16 Girls Red (97) and the LFC 17 Girls Red (96). We are so proud of the hard work of our coaches and players and know you will represent us well in regional play. We are also very proud of our finalists in the 2013 Kentucky State Tournaments: Presidents Cup: LFC 13 Boys Red (00) and LFC 16 Boys Red (97) Eurosport Cup: LFC U11 Boys White (02). Congratulations to all players, coaches, and parents!

May 20, 2013 Lexington FC teams have performed extremely well in the Midwest Regional Leagues this spring! The Lexington FC 99 Boys, coached by Fonyam Atanga, will maintain their spot in the Premier Division for U-15 Boys next year. The Lexington FC 97 Boys White, coached by Albert Gross, won their MRL First Division league and will move up to the Premier Division at U-17 next year. The Lexington FC 96 Boys White, coached by Tom Morgan, finished at the top of the table in their MRL First Division league and will also move to the Premier Division at U-18 for 2013-14. The Lexington FC 96 Girls White, coached by Brad Turpin Jr, finished tied at the top of their MRL First Division league. The Lexington FC 97 Girls White, coached by Mike Lippert, currently sits at the top of their MRL division with a few games remaining for other teams. Congratulations to these fine players, their coaches, and parents!!

May 20, 2013 Congratulations to the 96 Girls Red, coached by Mike McKinney and David Wall, on winning the Kentucky Youth Soccer President's Cup! They have earned the right to represent Kentucky in the US Youth Soccer Region ll President's Cup Championship to be held June 13-16 in Overland Park, Kansas. Good Luck!!!

May 16, 2013 Congratulations to Jordan Frommeyer, Lexington FC 95 Boys White, who has signed a letter of intent to play at Wheeling Jesuit University, a Division 2 school in Wheeling, West Virginia.

May 14, 2013 The Lexington FC 95 Boys White team has secured a Midwest Regional League bid to the Region 2 Championships this June in Des Moines, Iowa. They have won the U-18 MRL Boys Premier Red Division. They are the first Lexington FC team to achieve this honor and one of only five Kentucky select teams to ever do so. Congratulations to the players, coaches, and their parents!

May 6, 2013 Congratulations to the Lexington FC 99 Girls Red coached by Scott Scanlon. They were finalists in their division of the Cincinnati West Soccer Fest. They went into the division championship game 3-0-0, beating all of the teams in their group. After conceding only one goal in the championship game, the game was called due to weather, less than 5 minutes into the second half.

April 29, 2013 Congratulations to the LFC 03 Girls White team, coached by Mike Vanhooser. They won the Derby Cup tournament in Louisville over the weekend. The team went 4-0 and scored 25 goals while only allowing 2. Well done!

April 29, 2013 Lexington FC coach Kenny Nusbacher (LFC 12 Boys White and Red) was inducted into the Transylvania University Pioneer Hall of Fame over the weekend. Congratulations Coach! click for more info

April 29, 2013 Coach Fonyam Atanga led the LFC 99 White team to the championship of the Elite Division of the Club Ohio Nike Challenge Cup played in Columbus on April 27 and 28. LFC defeated Blast Pickerington 3-0, Richmond Hill (Toronto, Canada) 1-0 and Tri-State Elite 1-0 to earn a spot in the championship match where they defeated CUP Black 2-0. Keeper Robbie Goodman anchored a very stingy defensive effort that resulted in shutouts in all 4 matches.

April 25, 2013 LFC Girls White 00, coached by Brock Sutherland, were finalists in the top flight of the Club Ohio Nike Challenge Cup in Columbus this past weekend. They played elite teams from Michigan, PA, and Ontario and lost a tough championship game by only one goal.

April 24, 2013 The Lexington FC 96 Girls White and the Lexington FC 03 Girls White held a joint training session Tuesday night. Both teams had a blast and the 03 Girls really learned a lot from their new role models. Fun times!

April 23, 2013 Congratulations to the Lexington FC 13 Boys White team, coached by Evan Sutherland. They won the tough Cincinnati Elite Invitational tournament over the weekend. Playing in the top bracket, the team went 4-0. Well done!

May,5, 2013 Lexington FC 96 Girls White has announced another college commitment! Shannon Murray will play college soccer at Centre College starting this fall. Congratulations to Shannon and her parents!

April 16, 2013 Congratulations to the Lexington 13 Boys White, coached by Evan Sutherland, on their strong showing in the St. Louis Scott Gallagher Spring Classic last weekend. The team made it to the finals, losing on a penalty kick to a tough pre-academy SLSG team.

April 16, 2013 Lexington FC is proud to announce three new college commitments! Curtis Daniel (LFC 95 Boys White) has signed with Bellarmine University. Matt Gammon (LFC 95 Boys Blue) and Matt Melzer (LFC 95 Boys White) will continue their soccer careers at Transylvania University. Congratulations!
