Director of Coaching

Parviz Zartoshty is the Director of Coaching who is repsonsible for all apsects of coaching assignments and supervision and is heavily involved in player evaluation and placement.  Parviz has been and continues to be an integral part of the overall management of Lexington FC and works closely with the Lexington FC Club Director and the Board of Directors to continue to provide an unmatched level of elite soccer in Central Kentucky and throughout the Commonwealth of Kentucky. 

Parviz also has emassed an impressive career both in youth and collegiate soccer throughout the Commownealth of Kentucky including:

Marty

Marty Tucker is the Club Director for Lexington FC and is responsible for all strategic and operational aspects of the club.  Marty is also the Board Chair for Lexington Youth Soccer Association, Inc., the parent organization for Lexington FC, and is also responsible for the leadership of the club's overall strategic plan and and oversight of the organization's other soccer offerings including Recreational (LYSA), TOPSoccer and LYSA Adult Soccer.  

Marty has a long history with the game of soccer having started playing at an early age and continuing through college.  In his youth, Marty played soccer at various select clubs throughout Ohio South including Queen City Soccer Club (Cincinnati), Team Cincinnati and Jets Ohio (Columbus - predecessor to Club Ohio).  Marty was also a 4-year starter on his high school soccer team (Middletown High School) and was selected to the Ohio All-State Soccer Team both his Junior and Senior years, while earning 1st Team All-Cincinnati honors 3 times during his Sophomore, Junior and Senior Years and 1st Team All-GMC Conference recognition during the same 3 years.

After high school, Marty continued his playing career at Northern Kentucky University where he was also a 4-year starter.  Marty helped lead his NKU teams to GLVC conference championships in 1993 and 1995, a school record 15 wins in 1994 (eclipsed by a school record 16 wins in 1995) and a national ranking of 14th in 1996.  During that time, Marty was selected twice to the NSCAA All-Mid East Region team, twice earned All-GLVC Conference honors and remains on the top 10 all time leading scorers in program history.

Aside from his playing career, Marty continues to be heavily invested in soccer in Central Kentucky and throughout the region (yes - his wife Allie is a saint and deserves much of the credit).  Marty is a Director and Secretary for Kentucky Youth Soccer Association, Inc. (KYSA) and is the Head Coach for the West Jessamine Middle School Girls Soccer team.  Marty also has 3 children who participate in Lexington FC (and other sports) - Caroline (U14GW), Joanna (U12GW) and William (Boys Academy). 

In his "spare" time, Marty is a Partner with the law firm of Dinsmore & Shohl LLP, a national law firm headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio with over 650 lawyers in 25 cities coast to coast.  Marty is also Co-Chair of the law firm's Business Restructuring Group and specializes in creditors' rights, workouts and restructurings, commercial finance and real estate acquisiton and development.
